Nannette Samuelson

Coach Nannette has 20 years of running and 14 years of triathlon experience. She started running as an adult, when her 8 yr old daughter asked her to run the Cowtown 5k. Many races and several age group podium finishes she moved to 10Ks, half marathons and even marathons! Growing up as a gymnast, she was no stranger to hard work and competition. She developed a love for running and thrived on the challenge to always improve!

In 2004, on an old steel frame Schwinn 10 speed she completed her first Tri. After that race she was hooked! Over the last 14 years, Nannette has researched each discipline as well as transition and nutrition and has loved sharing her knowledge with others!

Being a coach, Nannette’s passion is to help others achieve their goals! She loves helping people be their best and fall in love with multi-sport. Coach Nannette is excited to help all athletes, from those just getting started to seasoned triathletes looking to improve their performance.

Coaching Specialties: Group training, personal training for triathlon, swim instruction for all ages, run coaching and bike skills.

If you would like help from a seasoned coach, she is the one to speak with! We are excited to have Coach Nannette on our team and we are confident that you will love her!

When asked about her life vision, Nannette commented “Do what you love! Love what you do!”

Chad Mills

Competition has always been a big part of Chad's life. In high school and college wrestling was his life. Although his high school coach used running and hill repeats as punishment, he developed an love for it. After college he began to miss the competition and decided to start exploring his interest for running. Over the next 5 years he competed in numerous races from 5Ks to marathons. While Chad enjoyed running, seeing the Ironman World Championships on TV, year after year, made him want to push the threshold.  It was at that point that he started training for his first sprint triathlon. Since then he has completed multiple races from sprint triathlons to full Ironman.

"My years of competition have given me an infectious desire to encourage fellow athletes and youth to develop life habits of health, discipline and camaraderie. My goal as a coach is for youth to establish a healthy lifestyle and to push through barriers to find new levels of fitness and performance."
